A new set of Wire Ropes prints are now available in Kilmantin Arts, and will shortly be available in the Boat Yard Gallery also.

There were originally two print runs of the Wire Ropes screen print, which were done in 2021. Each run resulted in only five prints, and we have none of them left in our collections unfortunately.

We decided to revisit this popular design, and so a new screen was created, with only slight modifications from the original. There are now 2 sets of prints available – ‘Rose Pink’ which follows a very similar colour gamut to the original design, and a new one, ‘Lime Green’.

I am still fascinated by The Wire Ropes Ltd building, and I walk past it every time I visit the town. It seems that is evokes the same response from many people, and I have heard that it is a popular place for location agents for a filming location.
